Book Review

The Infernal Devices

I recently read a series by bestselling author Cassandra Clare called the Infernal Devices. This series follows Tessa Gray a young New Yorker who’s Aunt dies leaving her all alone in the big city. The orphan sets out to London to search for her brother Nathaniel who sent for her. Almost immediately as she steps off the ship she is whisked away into the Dark and D
eceitful world of the supernatural. Set in the Shadowhunter Universe, filled with Drama, Romance and Tragedy, this series is beyond amazing. The Plot mostly takes place in London during the Victorian era, where Corsets and Carriages dominated the scenes. I have read a tremendous amount of books and I must say that this series took my breath away. I literally sobbed, laughed and passed out at the right scenes. I felt as if for a few simple hours I was in the book. And very few books have that effect on me. The story mostly circulates around the love triangle of William Herondale(Will), Tessa Gray(Tess) and James Carstairs(Jem). So if you feel like a book that will make you feel like a young magical  adult then read this.
